Twice as hard as oak, Ambient snap together engineered bamboo flooring can take a lot more punishment than your average bamboo wood flooring. It is made using a unique manufacturing process that is different from all other bamboo flooring types. The long strips of bamboo are first heated, then woven together, and then laminated under extreme pressure. The strand woven flooring produced by this manufacturing process is both harder and denser than solid bamboo flooring and almost every type of traditional wood flooring. This wear layer is then added to a 4 ply high density fiber wood core for dimensional stability. This click lock flooring requires no glue or nails, is installed as a floating bamboo floor and can be used over concrete and in basements!
