Oct 2009 - We are proud to announce that our products have been awarded FSC Pure certification from the Forest Stewardship Council.  Using 100% FSC material from FSC certified forests, all of Ambient's FSC Certified bamboo flooring qualifies for the FSC Pure designation.   Our FSC certification number is BV-COC103487 - these certified products are available upon special request.

The Forest Stewardship Council was established in 1993 as a non-profit organization to coordinate the development of international forest management standards.   Under the FSC certification, indigenous rights are respected, environmental conservation values are not only maintained but enhanced and harvesting must meet both national laws and international treaties.   

FSC issues certificates for well managed forests the trademark image of which is quickly becoming recognized as the mark of responsibility in the marketplace.   This certification clearly shows architects, builders, homeowners and designers that the chosen products are held to the highest environmental standards.
