Twice as hard as oak, Ambient strand bamboo flooring can take a lot more punishment than your average wood flooring.  It is made using a unique manufacturing process that is different from all other bamboo flooring types.   The long strips of bamboo are first heated, then woven together, and then laminated under extreme pressure.   The strand woven flooring produced by this manufacturing process is both harder and denser than solid bamboo flooring and almost every type of traditional wood flooring.  A strand woven floor can be sanded down and refinished just like any other wood flooring product.  It has a warm look that is perfect for any home.  It is especially a great choice for those homes with very active pets or children!
